Water used inside your home flows to the City’s wastewater treatment facilities.  But washing your car in the driveway can send soap, oil, and grease into the storm drain. Use kitty litter to absorb these pollutants before they reach the storm drain.

Likewise, fertilizers used in landscaping contribute nitrogen to our creeks, with a final destination at Watson Lake.  Please use fertilizers sparingly and follow the manufacturer’s directions.
