If you’re in the Valley, Glendale Xeriscape Garden is at the library, 5959 W Brown St.  It’s free and open from dawn to dusk.
Or, visit Scottsdale Xeriscape Garden at Chaparral Park, 8111 E. McDonald Dr.  The garden is a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat. A buried 5.5 M gallon reservoir from the Chaparral Water Treatment Plant keeps the garden healthy.
